PAMPA final review highlights outstanding results
On the 20th September, the PAMPA (Plastic Components for Advanced Microwave Equipment of New Generation SatCom PAyloads) project team held their final project review at the Thales Alenia Space premises in Toulouse, France.
This followed on from the successful thermal cycling and vibration testing of the PAMPA demonstrator (a Ka band Channel Amplifier with microwave integrated circuits in plastic packages) back in June. By gaining a Technology Readiness Level TRL 5, the main objective of the project was achieved. During the final review, the EC reviewer and project officer warmly acknowledged the work achieved and the outstanding results.
Well done to everyone involved in this project and at Sencio we’re looking forward to further pushing the frontiers of plastic encapsulation in space.
